About the artist

Born in Boothbay Harbor in 1947, I grew up in mid-coast Maine. I come from a family of artists/authors as well as my siblings who are also artists. I studied art in my younger years selling my first piece at 15. While serving in the Coast Guard, among other things, I did relief keeping the Cuckolds Light House which in part has led to my love of painting the Maine coast and light houses along with Maine landscapes. I hope you enjoy your painting as much as I enjoyed painting it.
